Why ours looks different to the one you saw
Most 360 booths in Atlanta are a phone clamped to a rotating arm. It works, in the sense that something records — but phone sensors are small, the arm shakes at speed, and the result is a dim, juddery clip that gets watched once and never posted. Ours films on a real DSLR on a stabilised arm, which is the entire difference between footage guests share and footage they scroll past.
Guests step onto the platform, the camera orbits them, and roughly twenty seconds later the slow-motion clip lands on their phone by text or email — already cut, already colour-graded, already carrying your overlay. There is no app to install and nothing to sign up for, which matters because every extra step is a percentage of your guests who walk away instead.
It is a spectacle as much as a booth. People gather to watch other people have a go, which means it fills the awkward hour between dinner and dancing better than almost anything else you can put in a room.
What we need from the venue
- Space: a clear 12ft by 12ft with nothing overhead. The arm swings wide, and low chandeliers or a marquee tie-bar will stop it.
- A flat, level floor. The platform will not sit safely on grass, gravel or a sloped patio.
- Power: one standard outlet within about 25ft.
- Setup: around 60 minutes before the booth opens, plus breakdown. Neither counts against your hours.
- Attendant included. Someone helps every guest on and off the platform — which is a safety matter as much as a service one, particularly later in the evening.

Weddings
Four hours with an attendant and a custom overlay. It belongs near the dance floor rather than by the entrance — the clips are far better once the room has loosened up and the dresses are moving.
Brand events

How much space does a 360 photo booth need?
A clear 12ft by 12ft with nothing overhead. The arm swings wide, so low chandeliers, ceiling fans and marquee tie-bars are the usual problem — send us a photo of the spot if you’re unsure.
Can a 360 booth go outdoors?
On a flat, level, solid surface under cover, yes. Not on grass, gravel or a sloped patio: the platform has to sit dead level for the arm to swing safely with someone standing on it.
How long does each guest take?
About 30 seconds on the platform and another 20 for the clip to reach their phone. In practice that’s 40 to 60 guests an hour, and the queue moves faster than it looks because everyone stays to watch.
How do guests get their video?
By text or email, within seconds — already cut, colour-graded and carrying your overlay. There’s no app to install and nothing to sign up for, which is deliberate: every extra step loses guests.
Is it filmed on a phone?
No. Ours uses a DSLR on a stabilised arm, which is why the footage holds up in low light and doesn’t judder. Most 360 booths on the market are a phone in a clamp, and it shows the moment the lights go down.
