Everyone gets to be the rookie card
Guests are photographed, dropped onto a themed background built for your event, given their name and whatever stat line you want to run, and handed a finished trading card sealed in a rigid acrylic case. The case is doing more work than it looks: a card in a sleeve is a novelty, and a card in a case is a collectible.
The backgrounds are built ahead of the event rather than generated on the night, so they match your theme instead of approximating it — a team, a franchise, a launch, a era. You approve the design before a single card is printed.
Up to 150 cards per event, with an optional custom player treatment at $500 for events that want the stat lines and positions properly designed rather than filled in. Guests also get the digital version, which is what actually gets posted.
What we need from the venue
- Space: around 10ft by 10ft, including a table for printing, cutting and casing.
- Power: one standard outlet within about 25ft.
- Lead time for the background and card design, which is built and approved before the day.
- Time per guest: around two minutes, since each card is finished and cased at the station.
- Additional hours are $350 each.
